Cooperatives, time banks, and alternative currencies are explored in a new documentary Fixing the Future, which premieres in theaters and screening rooms around the US on a single evening, this July 18th, 2012. There will be a post-film discussion piped into all the screenings with the host David Brancaccio (of PBS and NPR), environmental luminary Bill McKibben, and Bronx native and activist Majora Carter. The NYC screening will be held at Clearview’s Chelsea Theater, 7:30pm, hosted by New York City Network of Worker Cooperatives. Tickets are around $13.
